Why do men make fun of me just becuase I ride a sportster?

I get it already ! It is supposed to be a "girl" bike geez. I don't get why do you need to try make me feel bad for something I love and cherish . I have always wanted one since I was ten .I worked at a fast food place and took so much crap just to get it . I have been cussed , callled a ni@@er,worked in 15 degree weather all for that bike . It was my only transportation for yrs. before I got car. Yet ,because some of the men (not all) see me on it they snicker that it's a baby bike . I love my baby ,and thats why I get so mad!ugh!!. You think that they would be happy because I'm one of the few that "get it " why people ride . The job I work at I'm there all the time and it's 70 miles round trip yet cold or not I will ride cause it is "good day to ride " . I will admit I dont do rain or lighting because I was almost killed in rain and I'm scared lighting even in a house . Been there done that!! Ii even have a brother that has no clue how to ride one , yet the first time he see my bike he starts with the jokes. Why men why!!
