How do I Respond to People saying my hair is Fake or is a Wig?

I'm black. So obviously I have different hair than a white girl's. I just got my hair re-done & I got weave in extension. REAL human hair. So they're NOT fake. The problem is that I go to a white school so they don't understand this. They walk up to me and ask me if my hair is a wig or if it's fake. And practically all the kids at my school as saying my hair is a wig even though I say it's not. As if they know 100% that my hair is a wig. And it's not. Or they'll just walk up to me and tell me that my hair looks fake. It's embarrassing!! Like just a little while ago a kid walked up to me in front of a bunch of other kids on the day that I had decided to curl my hair and said: "Why'd you have to curl your hair? It looks like a wig and you look emo." Some kids will say: "OMG! I love your hair." Then turn away and snicker to their friends saying how it looks like a wig or that it looks fake. The same kid that said I looked emo with my extensions said that my hair looked like yarn. Then when I confront them they say that they weren't being rude. That they meant it looked different or pretty. Then why don't they just say that it looks different or pretty instead of saying that it looks fake, like yarn, a wig, or laugh at my hair. It really hurts me. Some kids that I don't even know just start touching my hair with ought asking me and then run and tell everyone else that my hair looks fake. Even my friends act like this. And it's not like I can confront everyone because this is most of the school. How do I respond to them? I want to stay strong, but it's hurting me. And I need my extensions because it makes my hair grow out, and I want to feel pretty with them in. Just like any girl. And famous people wear wigs all the time. Why do they think it's their business to know what I've done with my hair? Why do they make it such a big deal? Even if I was wearing a wig SO WHAT?! HELP!! They're acting very rude! :/
